This presentation will highlight results from asphalt overlay test sections constructed at the Minnesota Road Research Facility (MnROAD). Ten test sections were constructed on I-94 to evaluate performance of asphalt overlays built with different PG binders and additives. The additives include recycled rubber, recycled plastic and aramid fibers. Early performance of the test sections has already yielded valuable insights into asphalt binder selection and low temperature cracking.
