Since graduating in 1990 from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Paul Schmitz has held a variety of sales, business development and sales management roles within the construction and technology industry. Over the last 15 years, Paul’s experience has been promoting synthetic building materials in the civil and marine construction industry. Most of those years were spent with CMI, focusing on large scale engineered projects for environmental remediation, flood prevention and shoreline protection. In early 2020, Paul transitioned to Tensar International Corporation as the Market Manager for Public Roads, setting the strategic growth plan for this market. He consults with a variety of clientele from contractors and engineers to all levels of government agencies, including extensive experience with Federal agencies such as the USACE and NRCS.
